$61.75

Description

Don't know how to have more than one row of beads in your brooches? The only right solution is bead separators!

From about 700 to 1000 AD, oval fibulae with chain dividers were an important part of women's costumes in northern Europe and are often found in female tombs of the Viking Age.

Several chains were often worn between oval brooches and attached to wide plates or narrow chain dividers. This custom has spread especially in eastern Sweden, but also in Finland, Gotland and the Baltic States. Their appearance was harmonized with the appearance of jewelry, or even atypically common in relation to the price of hanging jewelry. If you want to hang rows of glass pearls so that they do not get tangled and keep them in shape, be sure to order them :)

These dividers are used to divide strings of glass beads and various pendants (both are also available)

Clamping under brooches with wire.

Replica of the find, Sweden - Birka grave 854, 10th century.

The price is for a pair

Dear customer.
We are currently on the road with a sales booth and will be back at the end of the week.

With the season coming up, we generally recommend that orders be completed no later than Saturday and Sunday morning. This is because that is when we have the opportunity to prepare your goods directly from the counter of the booth and ship them immediately at the beginning of the week. Subsequently, the dispatch of shipments is then delayed by our long-distance movements.

If you are in a hurry to place an order, please contact us.
