This beautiful set of miniatures of Thor's Hammer was probably found in a woman's grave and dates from the 9th - 10th century.
Pendants in the form of miniature objects (in this case Thor's hammer) were very popular with the Vikings. Archaeologists find both miniatures of everyday objects - such as spoons, shoes or keys, but also weapons as swords, axes or spears.
