Full brass round head rivet (nail), ideal for working with leather.
These full brass rivets are mainly used for fastening belt buckles and epaulettes.
If you are buying belt components from me, arrangements can be made to assemble the entire belt. But don't forget to add them to your cart if you are assembling the belt yourself.
The brass is strong enough to hold the garments, but at the same time malleable enough that the rivet portion on the opposite side of the head can be knocked apart. We have seen a change in the shops from high quality brass rivets to "pomosazed" and otherwise plated. These are hard and unsuitable for this special work.
Brass rivets are not only beautiful when applied to your products, they are especially resistant to corrosion.
