Description

A Viking grave was found in Poland on the Vistula River, which was easily navigable from the Baltic Sea (Kałdus, Wisla, Poland, Chełmno No. 60/00). It contained two paired, almost identical knives, an omegas clasp, a bronze bowl, a wrought iron bucket, a piece of silver coin and a wooden plate with bronze gilt fittings. What we really like, however, is that the two paired knives are decorated with a metal ornament, and it is only on top of this that the charged fittings - meticulously crafted - are now brought to you.

With ideal curvature, it beautifully replicates the sheaths of your weapons. Use them as opposing pieces to decorate knife sheaths or accentuate the curve of the sword sheath end. Or do whatever you want with them :)

Knives and seaxes (long knives) range in historical finds in blade size from a few centimetres to over 70 cm. Their decoration depends on the purpose for which they are intended and also on the financial situation of the character you are portraying. These sheaths are then adapted to hang in some way. For men on belts, for women on brooches and various other dividers.

All parts come with brass rivets for easy installation.

Price is per pair.

Dimensions 1 piece: 5,5 g, 9,5 x 3 mm (6 mm around the rivet holes).
