Description

Are you reconstructing the 13th-15th century?

Or do you want to spice up your LARP costume? Are you looking for a simple classic and don't want to be put off by fantasy clutches made of who knows what material from the East?

These clasps of mine are simply sewn on at the desired height at the neck (one part for each side of the cloak) and then the two pieces of the clasp are joined with a sturdy hook to reliably hold any heavy cloak, on the promenade or in battle.

I carefully select patterns and decorations that are common at the time, and across Europe. France, Italy, Germany, Poland, Bohemia, Scandinavia... Fashion trends have their own patterns and often differ only in material, extra embellishments and the addition of precious stones or enamel colouring. You can't go wrong with quality brass, which I use myself for my medieval clothes. There's plenty of it in museums everywhere and everyone could afford it.

I routinely offer brass and silver plating. I can also offer gold plating by appointment.
