This is no ordinary fire striker.
Each piece is created in a forge, hand-forged exactly as the masters did in Viking times. The wave pattern is not only decoration—it is a special technique known from original finds from the port of Haithabu, and its production requires practice, an experienced eye, and time that simply cannot be rushed. And also the desire to invest a little more in reenactment.
Ordinary fire strikers are mass-produced and made more quickly.
This fire striker is made one piece at a time over several hours, from high-quality steel, under the hammer, fire, and hands of a blacksmith. Every detail has its reason and its price.
If you are looking for a classic fire striker, you will find it in the FLINTS section.
If you want a historically accurate, fully functional, and honestly forged piece that will stand up as a collector's item and, above all, show who knows their early medieval history, you are in the right place.
This work is not done over a couple of beers :-)
It is done for people who know what they are holding in their hands.
