The amulet I like to make out of bone is called the Staff of Hercules. You can see similar ones in museums all over Europe from the 2nd-6th centuries, often in Germany.
They're supposedly a nod to the popularity of Hercules stories among the Germanic people. With increasing popularity, this type of amulet began to spread to our territory and is also known as the Donarskeule (Donar =Thor).
There are different versions of the decoration, rounded and square pylons, concentric circles can also be combined with horizontal and transverse lines, but the common thing is that the hole for hanging is in the tapered part to resemble a club.
The amulet was not only found in the chest area, but also at the waist, suggesting that it could have been hung from a belt or knife as an ornament.
I have looked very closely in museums and have not found a hole on the underside. However, I have very often seen similar shapes as handles for long forged whetstones.
If you wish, I would be happy to make an iconic eyelet out of brass or bronze wire, for hanging. It also looks nice with round leather, which we also have in our range. This original piece of jewellery can also be made to measure, the price of course corresponds mainly to the complexity, decoration, engraving and also the size. The beef bone I use for this is harder to choose the bigger and thicker the object is :)
