The most distinctive style of early Viking Age Borre evolved from the Germanic style of depicting various mythical monsters. Characteristic are faces with large eyes and flattened noses, animals with geometric braids, squares, circles and distinctive contours. The animals have triangular heads and erect ears with North Germanic-style braids. These jewellery and utensils are found from the mid-9th to the mid-10th century.
Belts in the early Middle Ages did not only mark the status of the wearer. As you know, the Vikings had no pockets. They used various belt suspension systems to carry everything they needed. A belt like this has to look nice, but it also has to be functional. If you are a warrior, you must also rely on the quality of the product. Buckles must be able to withstand iron combat, LARP and daily wear for years, not just a few walks outside the tent! Now you have such a quality product in front of you :)
Tip: You can purchase the individual elements and simply stitch or stitch them together.
