I take special care in the production of runes, as I use them myself and regularly hold small gatherings to mark important pagan festivals. They are of great importance to me and I believe I pass on that energy and respect.
The divine origin of the runes is described in the poem Runatál in the epic work Hávamál is a fragment of a poem about the runes he brought to Odin written as follows:
He hung on the winds
on a windswept tree,
in the spice unknown;
cursed with a spear
for nine nights
The wise Odin was a victim to himself.
He ate no bread and drank nothing,
...but gazed in the depths of darkness,
then he wept and took the runes.
At last he returned.

Know how to read them,
know how to color, verify,
how to ask, and how to offer sacrifice,
to send them away, to take away their power.
I hand carved each piece into the antlers of deer that lived around the cult area of Hedeby and Ribe, a place steeped in history, spirituality and the cult of the Norse god Odin. The individual pieces are smoothed, in different sizes and shapes.
The antlers I use are shed antlers - that is, antlers that the deer themselves discard so that they can grow new and bigger ones. It's a controlled natural process that usually happens at the end of winter. So these are not antlers from killed animals.
I also offer the option of colouring the letters with pigment paints. On request, it is not a problem to adjust the set with additional runes from other variants of runic alphabets or symbols.
Size of one piece approx. 2 - 3 cm
Runes are packed in a leather/fabric bag.
I hold the certificate Zápraží - Original Product - which supports craftsmen in the region southeast of Prague. It means that everything was made by hand here, in the heart of Bohemia.
I also received the Master of Crafts of the Central Bohemia Region award - it honours craftsmen for their long-lasting endurance in a craft that is revived and popularised at home and in the world.
