Description

The hand-carved and machined wooden needle with an oval cross-section is a functional replica.

Archaeologically documented style of knitting preceding contemporary knitting and crochet. Needles made of antlers, bone and wood were found. The style of this knitting was found in Egypt and especially in the Nordic countries, in the Balkans and also in Peru.

Hats, helmet caps, socks, scarves, gloves and whole clothes - it's up to you what you make with this knitting style with one needle. And those kinds of stitches! Learn the style of Mammen, York, Vasa or 9 other knitting patterns.

I believe that the production process using only hand tools has not changed much in the production of my needles.

I make the needles by hand and each one is a little different - original.

When finished, I apply linseed oil and then beeswax. This will make the wood drawing stand out and at the same time the wood will be treated.
