A careful approach would date the cross as an artifact from the 9th to 12th centuries. The style of the pendant is similar to the Celtic solar cross, or the pendants of the North European / Viking or Kiev-Russian cross. Similar crosses are often described as "Viking" crosses. Such crosses traveled throughout Europe during the Viking Age, a period of Nordic military, trade and demographic expansion that hit the Byzantine Empire, France, Italy, the Baltic nations and ancient Russia (Russia).
This crucifix was made on the basis of original finds from the Baltics, Eastern and Central Europe.
The cross symbolized the faith of the wearer. Now you too can be proud of this pendant.
