GETICA Goths pagan bronze pin - for hair and dress decoration

The culture of the Goths can be found throughout Europe. Who doesn't know the names of these powerful tribes from southern Europe, such as the Ostrogoths, inhabiting Italy and the Adriatic Sea region, and the Visigoths, inhabiting what is now Spain, France and Portugal.

During the Migration of Nations period, they made a significant mark in European history, coming from the area of Sweden and the area around the Polish Vistula River, and their traces can be found in Gotland, Poland, the Crimea and the Black Sea.

This utilitarian jewellery is an example of the art of the early Middle Ages.

The needle is cast in bronze, has a solid eye and distinctive points pointing in all directions.
